Let's Try Not to Make Fools of Ourselves

10/12/14 Did awesome! Jiyya placed Reserve Best in Show, BOG, BOB, BOW, WB. Competition was stiff, there were some good entries, so I'm very happy and surprised! Now no more entering Confor. shows for her, I want to try to work on her titles.

Been needing to submit this for awhile! Edited Jiyya's nice collar a bit. Doesn't have studs and has turquoise stones and chains on each side. It was pretty fun to design and draw this entry.

It made Terrell nervous as Jiyya yipped and pulled at her leash as they watched other groups take their turns though the show ring. Terrell didn't think much of show because being a show dog wasn't what Jiyya had been training for, but he still didn't want to make a fool of himself with his hyperactive bully making a muck. Dmitry had explained to Terrell that entering her in a conformation show would be good for the both of them. Having dogs in conformation shows would make the kennel look good, even if their dogs weren't specifically trained for looking extra pretty. 

Terrell sighed as he heard the announcer call Jiyya's name. Trotting out, she became silent. She let out no signs of aggression as the judge looked over her teeth, and even wagged her tail a tad as the judge felt her over. Starting to trot her around the ring, Terrell smiled a bit. They might not place, but at least they didn't look like idiots. And that's all that really mattered to him.
